Program Team Ambassadors

Programming Specialist at the Toaster help shape one of the most exciting spaces on campus for innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration. Program Ambassadors team up with student orgs, plan awesome events and workshops, and help make sure the Toaster stays buzzing with energy and ideas. Whether they are coordinating hands-on challenges like Tinker @ the Toaster, supporting the MatchMaker program, or building connections through our Gopher Innovation Community, the mission is to help students connect, create, and turn ideas into action, and contribute directly to the future of the Toaster.

Makerspace Ambassadors

Makerspace at the Toaster are right in the middle of the action—helping students like you bring their wildest ideas to life in a creative, hands-on space. They can help you learn and use awesome tools like 3D printers, Cricuts, sewing machines, and more! From leading fun workshops to being a go-to problem solver and creativity booster they help keep the space running smoothly, make sure supplies are stocked, and even have a say in new programming and projects.

Media Services Ambassadors

Media Services Ambassadors are more than tech-savvy creatives—they’re catalysts for exploration, collaboration, and innovation. In this dynamic role they combine a passion for media with their know-how of equipment and software to help our vibrant community bring their boldest ideas to life. From mentoring users through hands-on training and personalized consultations they play a pivotal role in shaping how media is used and understood in our space. Whether leading a workshop, producing captivating video or audio content, or collaborating with our Communications team to showcase Toaster events, they are at the forefront of storytelling and tech.

Communications Ambassadors

Communications Ambassadors craft engaging content, launch strategic communication campaigns and have their finger on the pulse of social media trends. They work diligently, monitoring various communication channels, writing captivating blogs and newsletters, and creating standout marketing media. These Ambassadors keep the Toaster Community in the know and help ensure the great happenings at the Toaster reach beyond our walls.
