- ProQuest Historical NewspapersThis database allows you to search the archives of major American newspapers
- Oxford English Dictionary OnlineThis database gives you the history of a word, which you can use to determine whether your search terms are optimized for the time period for which you are trying to find primary sources
- EEBO: Early English Books Online (Page Images)Early English Books Online is a repository of over 125,000 titles published in England in the early modern period that have been digitized
