Your first stop for IPA and diction resources: The Music Library and our digital collections
Through the Music Library, you can access a number of helpful diction resources. These include several databases:

IPA SourceInternational Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) transcriptions and literal translations of opera arias and art song texts.

Diction PoliceIncludes text readings of songs and arias by native speakers, phonetic transcription (IPA), translations into several languages, video tutorials, podcasts, webinars, diction tips, and diction lessons.
We also have a number of helpful print resources, available in the Music Library's Reference section:

- Nico Castel's IPA transcriptions of opera libretti (print books)
