- Japan Times Archives, 1897-2021The Japan Times is Japan's oldest English language newspaper and the country's only independent English-language newspaper today. The digital archive allows you to search the full text of all issues of The Japan Times published between March 1897 and 2021.
- Kikuzo II Visual: Asahi Shinbun Kiji DetabesuA newspaper database for Asahi shinbun containing 8 million articles (as of January, 2009) published from 1879 to present. Also includes articles from the weekly magazines Aera and Shūkan Asahi, and from the annual new-word dictionary Chiezō.
- Yomidas RekishikanOnline newspaper resource covering Yomiuri shinbun (1874 to the present: image format from 1874 to 1989; full text 1986 to the present) and the English edition, Daily Yomiuri (Sept. 1989 to the present). Both newspapers are searchable by article, keyword, subject category, and issue. Charts and photographs are not included. Also includes biographical information on 26,000 people.

- Hoji Shinbun Digital CollectionThe Hoji Shinbun Digital Collection is currently the world’s largest online archive of open-access, full image Japanese American and other overseas Japanese newspapers in Asia and South America. Image content in this collection is accompanied by OCR-generated text where possible, thus rendering the text searchable. The holdings of each title are browsable by date, title, and publication place, with each title cross searchable with other titles on the platform.

- Newspaper Clippings CollectionBy Kobe University Library. The collection of newspaper clippings from the end of Meiji to Showa 45 (1970). Some older newspaper clippings have been digitized.
- Nikkwa Jitsugyo 日華實業In 1917, the "Japan-China Business Association" (日支実業協会) was established in the Kobe Chamber of Commerce (renamed "Kobe Japan-China Business Association" 神戸日華実業協会 in 1924). This newspaper is published from 1922 by the association, which still exists today, is this "Nichika Kogyo".
- The Nikkwa Shimpo 日華新報The "Nikkwa Shimpo" held by the Kobe University is a newspaper mixed with Chinese and Japanese, published in Motomachi, Kobe from 1904 to the 1920s.
- Publishing and Advertisement Database in Meiji Era 明治期出版広告データベースWith the aim of publishing the circumstances in modern Japan, it's a collection of publication and advertisements printed in newspapers and magazines in the early Meiji period.
